The most extravagant student accommodation in the UK

Students are often seen as scrimping by on tins of soup, living life on the cheap to save up for those boozy nights out which fuel the motivation to get through exams and coursework.

But not all students have to make the choice of whether to buy food for the week, or pay £40 for ‘mandatory’ recommended books for their course. Throughout the UK there are many flats and apartments which are more suitable for those who prefer (and can afford) the finer things in life.

The Nido Collection, West Hampstead

These swanky studios and apartments in West Hampstead have the whole package: you won’t even need to leave the premises. The Nido Collection offers free memberships for the onsite 24-hour gym, a concierge service and constant security.

Unlike most students who retreat back to their messy rooms filled with pizza boxes and unwashed clothes, students at The Nido Collection return to clean and tidy bedrooms, kindly cleaned by the free housekeeping. There’s definitely no excuse for procrastinating work because you were ‘tidying your room’.

Iconinc, Leeds

The studio apartments at Iconinc offer a touch of luxury for the Leeds’ elite. After a long and hard day of falling asleep in lectures, the perfect way to relax at Iconink is to sink into the sofas in the surround-sound private cinema, playing everything for free from romances to cult classics.

The work hard, play hard mantra has never been more real with the game zone, pool room, flat-screen TVs and lounges. It’s a food lover’s paradise with a self-service pantry and a grab-and go-breakfast area where you can help yourself to food. Enough said.

Vita, Liverpool

With a free cleaning service, an onsite state-of-the-art gym and 24 hour security, Vita in Liverpool has the type of luxurious studio apartments that actually make the 3000 word essays worth writing. The communal spaces have ping pong and pool tables; creating the perfect distraction from uni work. To top it all off, a large comfy area with a flat-screen TV acts as the onsite cinema room for all residents and their mates.

Whether or not you can afford these incredible student apartments at the moment, don’t forget the whole reason we go to uni (obviously not to go out, drink and have fun) is to eventually get a good job and to get paid.

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re
using? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future
but I’m having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different
then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
