How would you feel if I said you could relive the night beforehand, from the very comfort of your bed? Would that fill you with excitement for the hilarious sights you would see or make you feel like crying into your hangover feast? (We’ve all had them nights out – don’t be ashamed)
On Friday night I went out for ONE drink in Camden Town with my university friends as we were longing to celebrate the end of our university year. However, one drink turned out to be one too many as we got carried away dancing to the vibes of the Latin music. As we danced our university troubles away, my friend introduced us to an app he uses on nights like these called Flashgap where we each took pictures but they strangely disappeared into a secret and hidden album within the app until 12pm the next day.
So as you can imagine, the next day with a very bad hangover, at 12pm we each received a notification which unleashed an album full of “slips” and raw pictures from our crazy night. It was absolutely hilarious to swipe through this album, witnessing how my friends captured the night through their own eyes, allowing me to fill in the hazy gaps from my drunken antics; my friends taking selfies including the most random people in the weirdest places. We were VERY glad to find out these images are not linked to social media because that would have been a real embarrassment, they were just for us to see.
Now we’ve all seen the film The Hangover, it’s not hard to tell the creators of Flashgap took inspiration from the hilarious comedy, so if you want a similar experience and want to relive the night before, then give the free app a go. I can see this app taking over student lives in September.
