Leeds students stand to support homeless women this international women’s day

Tomorrow, on Tuesday 8th March, a Leeds based homeless charity called Simon On The Streets will be launching their Simone On The Streets campaign to support and represent homeless women this International Women’s day. The event offers chance for members of the public in Leeds to show their support for homeless women.The campaign, initiated by a team of eight students who were inspired by a talk from the charity, aims to raise awareness and bring to light the complex issues that homeless women face. I have been blogging since July 2014 as a way to keep my self busy during my long summer holiday. I didn’t have a job and needed something to take up my time. Citizens Rally to the Humanitarian Crisis

Mountains of food and clothes fill the streets as dozens of people hurry to pack them away. Since the early hours of Saturday, 5th September, there has been an outpouring of kindness from people throughout the country.
