Jump into January fashion

Winter. For some of us it’s all about the build up to Christmas. We tend to forget about the long slog of the December term. Deadlines and January exams are soon upon us and once they’re over there’s no resting, as lectures creep back quicker than you can imagine. Battling the cold makes it all the worse. Fortunately, it’s not all gloom, as now is the time to catch the last of the post Christmas sales. What not to wear to lectures

It’s 8:40am, you’ve overslept and your lecture starts at 9. Is this primary school?) When you eventually venture out of bed the issue at the forefront of your mind is probably “what the hell do…

What to wear for a job interview

The job interview is an environment where preparation pays off. Your CV and work experience has got you through the front door, past umpteen other applicants and into the interview room. From here on in, it’s about how you present yourself, how you project your personality, and how competently and confidently you deal with the questions coming at you from the other side of the desk. It’s also about how you look. Make no mistake, first impressions can be hugely significant and before you’ve even spoken a word in greeting, the interviewer – or interviewing panel – will draw certain…
