Benefits of living with indoor plants at university

The world recently observed National Indoor Plant Week, which took place between the 17th and 23rd of September. In honour of this, it seems important to discuss both the health and the personal benefits that result from introducing indoor plants into houses. Particularly, within uni halls or houses. As a houseplant/succulent/cacti enthusiast, it’s always been a point of interest to me, and it would be great to promote the benefits and positive lifestyle changes from indoor plants! June 2nd, National Doughnut Day!!

It Friday 2nd June 2017….. Not any normal Friday… This Friday will start the weekend off the right way…. It’s National Doughnut Day!!   Every first Friday in June, people often celebrate the doughnut whilst honouring the Salvation Army Lassies. These are the women that served doughnuts to the soldiers during WW1 in 1938, when this tradition began. Their goal of this fundraiser was to provide the needy through the great depression. Fun Fact: The doughnuts were often cooked in oil in the metal helmets belonging to the soldiers. What better way to admire these beautiful creations than to share…
